This year...

I just found out about my good friend and fishing buddy lost his battle with cancer yesterday. Loved his family, friends, and The Vols. One of the greatest people ever. He was a respiratory therapist at the hospital where I worked. We worked together in the ER for years. He pushed around his computer and cart with a bucket of candy. You see working in an ER can beat you up. You see tragedy non-stop. You get treated terrible. It makes you question life choices. Tim would see that in your face, walk over and put his arm around you and say ā€œyou know this is just temporary buddyā€. He would then hand you piece of candy and say ā€œIā€™m proud of youā€. He would call me on Veterans Day just to say thanks. We fished together often. Really going to miss my friend.

He graduated from UT. Huge Vol fan. Had a million Alabama jokes.

He actually ran for governor once šŸ˜‚.

Worked in medical tents on pit row at Daytona every year.

He had two degrees one in chemistry. He made the best ā€œjuiceā€. Couple of drinks and those Alabama jokes were hilarious.

Not asking for sympathy. I feel bad for the world losing a great kind soul. Asking everyone to raise a glass to Tim tonight. VOL FOR LIFE

We should fire Pruitt and hire you. You are clearly a genius. What the crap man. Head on down to Athens and take Pruitt's headset.

Never said that. Never insinuated that. Thereā€™s plenty Pruitt knows that I donā€™t. Disagreeing on this issue is not the same as saying I should replace him. And Pruitt knowing more than I do overall doesnā€™t mean Iā€™m wrong on this matter, just as I wasnā€™t wrong on the Albright scholarship issue.

But I suspect you know that.

Theyā€™re not perfect. They used an initial counter on a backup longsnapper. A backup to a walk-on. I said at the time thatā€™s stupid because you can get a walk-on to long snap and you can use that scholarship on an athlete instead. I was right, the staff and posters who defended that decision were wrong.

I didnā€™t die on that hill. Wonā€™t die on this one either.

Hodge is 10x better at RB than Gibbs. The long snapper was also more deserving of a scholarship than Gibbs.

Girl! Iā€™m old..donā€™t speak for me....but by any chance do you have a daughter though? Iā€™m kinda needing a date for a wedding,if not itā€™s coolšŸ™‚šŸ˜…šŸ˜šŸ˜‚...and you were there oncešŸ‘€šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø We all live a little at some points in our livesšŸ˜ dont be a Karen šŸ‘€

Iā€™ve never and will never ever be a Karen, Iā€™m a Alpha Queen. No, only have a prince

My ideal start: First offensive possession, drive down the field, get it to the goal line. And punch it in with a rushing TD right off the bat on the first offensive possession. That would make a statement.
Yes, I like it. UT needs one play action pass in this series for about 25 yards to help set the tone and keep 'em honest. So they don't get comfortable with 8 in the box

No we werenā€™t. Maybe this one doesnā€™t work out but long snapper is worth a scholarship. Posters believing that have put as much or more thought process into it as yourself. Kinda hasty fella with the FACTS thing, huh?

A statement would be to run the ball every play right down the field for a TD. That would send a loud and resounding message that we came to pound the ball right down your throat for 4 quarters.

The long snapper made one bad snap in his first ever play, in his first ever game. I'm not ready to give up on him, yet. But, still, we probably could have got him to be a preferred walk-on and gave him a scholarship in a couple of years.
Maybe. Or perhaps Pruitt and staff developed a strategy? When we lost that native born long snapper to Oklahoma and he snapped perfectly for them (including against us), I changed my thought process on the position. Something influenced Pruitt throughout his coaching history also on the subject. But a message board poster thinks itā€™s stupid and facts...so **** him!

I suspect you got your head up your own azz. And I got facts to back me up. This shizz is easy! šŸ˜Ž
