I don’t listen to that garbage show. But again, this has been proven time and time again, Wallace has no idea what he’s talking about. The next time he gets something right will be the first time. He probably thinks Gruden and Currie are still down in Tampa having dinner talking about the Tennessee job.

Yeah I know, just thought it was interesting if true. I don't see something like that happening under Pruitt but you never know.

The Ansley hire was not liked by some VFLs who had watched him coach. I posted about it when he was hired and caught a lot of grief.

He was on a fast track both in P5 and the NFL. What do you mean “watch him coach”? You have video breakdown with him and DB’s? This is your best story since you told us you and 1,000,000 VFLs demanded Fulmer hire Tee. 😏

Questions, questions, questions.

Besides moving on from #2, when do we stop using football midgets as RB's every down? The top 3 are all change of pace, in-space guys. Only one is good.

Why do we recruit TE's? Seems like we could just use regular O-linemen in the spot for blocking. Would be more productive than pretending we will throw to a TE. The opposing DC's know we won't.

Why do ILB's think they need to weigh a deuce and a quarter? They bouce off good runners and cannot clear from O-line blocks. Fast and smaller is only good in space. We look like we are playing with 6-7 d-backs most of the time.

When do d-linemen figure out they are not supposed to be blocked, they are supposed to avoid and break free from blocks?

How can assistant coaches be so bad at developing player position groups? Three years in and this is the product?

Who calls run plays against Bama on third and 5+ and expects any kind of success? Even with #2 out there, at least try to throw a 7 yard pass. See TE discussion above. If you are going to recruit them, use them to catch a pass.

Who calls sideways passes each game that fail spectacularly, always wasting a down?

If #2 starts, there is literally no reason to avoid throwing deep passes at least 2 out of every 3 plays. Spread the field and run draws and counters with the other one out of 3 plays. But bombs away the rest because you have absolutely nothing to lose since Jeremy has decided to practice all season.

Shouldn't have looked at my recording of the game. Couldn't resist after reading all the posts today.

Hopefully we get to see Beckwith after the bye. Kids a hoss size wise.

I am with Crompton. He is spot on. If we move on from Pruitt at some point, we have to get an offensive coach and someone who is good with QBs. The game has evolved and it is more important than ever to be able to develop QBs. And elite QB can win you any game.

My list would be (in no order):
Freeze
Cutcliffe
Sarkisian
Joe Brady

I’m not sure any of them could win us a national championship, but they could get us to beating the usuals and competing with our rivals. That is what we need.

I doubt TN or the SEC lets Freeze come back
Cut is happy at Duke
Sark- No
Brady- very interesting, but I doubt it he ends up in Atlanta after this season imo.

My statement was backed by our supposed insiders so believe what you want. And yes, I know some people who have watched practice and Ansley coach. Fast track in the nfl? He worked under Gruden for one year. And he was always a db coach for a year or two everywhere else before leaving.
