If you’re talking about 84, then no. That game was competitive (still embarrassing, though).

And I don’t fault people if this year’s loss doesn’t bother them, or if they’re just ready to forget it. It’s healthier if you feel that way.

But I can’t. I don’t know why, but that one will stick with me forever. I knew it even during the game.
Everybody’s forever is different.

Gray is getting more carries but I dont think he has improved i actually think he has regressed. So far he falls on initial contact.
Improved from 23 to 32% broken tackles this year

He just hasn't had a breakout game this season yet, which honestly took him until our last game last year vs Vandy last year to break off a couple big runs.

Oh wow. I’m sorry I didn’t know of your accolades. Please don’t hurt me. 🤣🤣
Coach Majors was a National Champion coach. There’s a big difference from that a a first time head coach. Who also coached with the most talent in then entire NCAA.
It was Majors 8th season as a returning son. If we had a VN back then I’m betting there would have been more than a few threads characterizing the loss as “unforgivable”.

He won a national championship before he came here. So of course that gave him a lot more room for error. People knew that he had an idea of what he was doing.

8 years! I heard cussing that Johnny didn’t have it up until 85. How long does Les have at Kansas riding his BCS horse?

You don't think LSU would pound us into obvlivion?
We had our Kentucky, they had their Miss St. Tennessee is #54 in total defense, LSU is #83. LSU has had a lot more of a cake walk than us so far. They’ve beat Vanderbilt, SCAR, lost to Missouri, and Mississippi state. Meanwhile, we’ve played the top 2 teams including Alabama and UGA, as well as SCAR and Missouri and yet we are ranked higher in defense... logic says you’re just spouting out of your ass because you’re a troll or just pissed and saying stupid **** with zero facts.

Go Dodgers!!!!
I feel a little bit of responsibility for last night’s loss. My birthday is Tuesday and I’d told a couple people how cool it would be if the Dodgers won the Series on my birthday. Stupid. Stupid. The baseball gods are a mischievous lot, with all due respect.

But it occurred to me, if they do win it Tuesday, if someone had told my not-quite-23-year-old ass in 1988 when I was celebrating the last one, “Hey, the Dodgers will win it again on your birthday! ... when you turn 55,” I think I’d have thrown up on the spot.

Been a long, long haul but we’ve got 2 to win 1. Crossing my fingers, crossing my toes, crossing my eyes, my **** and my nose. Go Blue!

LSUs offense hasn't been the problem. They would score on us like Bama did, maybe worse.

We would probably score 24, just like South Carolina did.

In case you haven't noticed, we suck pretty bad.

LSU lost to Miss St by 10 and Missouri by 4.

We lost to UGA and by Bama by our usual blowouts and then got pasted by KY by 4 TDs.

They’ve posted that defensive statistic and you’re saying they will now play on the level of Alabama and Georgia and hold us to 24? Lol delusional but sure. They have a hell of an offense scoring the way they did against Vanderbilt and Mississippi State lol.

Tennessee could beat LSU. But of course would all depend on JGs play. Same thing can be said for the rest of the teams we play.

I have a few questions for the board:
Is Tennessee a well coached team?
Are we a smart, prepared football team?
have the players across the board markedly improved since Pruit got here?
How many games do you think a good game day coach is worth in wins?
What games have you sat back and said, ‘wow coach Pruitt and staff have called an exceptional game’?

Kentucky held us to 7

I've reached the point where what's happened has happened. It's all bout what happens the rest of the season now. Sure, the KY loss shouldn't have happened, but Bama was always expected to be a loss this year. It is what it is. Now we move on. Hopefully some things get fixed and we finish the season strong. If we're lucky, maybe we'll land a couple more big names in recruiting. Who really knows with how fickle these kids are nowadays? But it's no use wallowing in self-pity and misery. Life goes on.

You're a great poster, let me say that right away. However....just because people are pissed and they constantly complain about how pathetic the program is doesn't nessciarrly mean they're wallowing in self pity and misery. Some people just need to vent, it's how they personally "accept" the reality of the situation. To be frank, I can't blame anyone for not having much hope about the program or thinking things will get better this year. At the same time I also can't blame people for being calm and waiting for the rest of the year to play out either. I think it's important to point that out. While many people have your approach, people express themselves different ways. I myself do both ways just depending on how I feel the day lmao. There is no right or wrong way to go about it.

Trey Smith is a given, but that ain’t happening.

Which other seniors would you welcome back to the team next season?

Anyone?
Palmer. Handicapped just like Chaney is by QB play. In a passing heavy offense with even an above average QB he’d be one of the better receivers in the SEC if not the country. Not to mention he was being covered by Surtain, one of the best corners in the country
