It’s too early to label a 5 star QB who hasn’t played a bust. If Chaney doesn’t like him then whatever but you don’t put up the numbers he did in high school that compare to Lawrence, Watson and Fromm and not get a shot. Chaneys ass can git if he’s already writing a kid like that off.

Because you supposedly work for the Jets and we KNOW how popular Darnold is with your outfit. And here you are overhyping Maurer’s mobility in the same post. Maybe he clocks faster but it’s a lot of wasted motion. Legs out 3 yards against Bama’s 3rd team D and you have him built up as Lamar Jackson.

Right man. I don’t get the demand for bailey or it NEEDS TO HAPPEN RIGHT NOW!!. It’s so rare for a true freshman QB to actually be ready to play in this league. If he’s not ready JTs not a big deal all things considered. That doesn’t mean he can’t be a good player eventually. You never know what’s going on behind the scenes. I just asked the question about Chaney and his history with bailey Bc i think there’s a couple things that point to Chaney maybe not being all that high on bailey from his past at UGA and what happened when he was hired here. Also it’s not like h has some veteran backup qb or a concrete starter to kinda show him the ropes. JG ain’t helping his competition

I’m definitely not labeling him anything. I’ve been very complimentary of what little I’ve seen from him. We get sent All 22 tapes and scrimmage tapes from virtually every school in America so I’ve seen a little more of him than you might think.

To be fair Chaney hasn’t been very impressive this year. I will not claim he needs to be fired because his QB situation is truly trash. JG, JT and Maurer are all ass and won’t get us to the next level let’s just be honest about that. HB has had no practice and missed a lot so jury is still out on him but Chaneys offense has looked as unimaginative and the least creative I’ve seen in college football all year. We do not do anything like motion to throw a defense off. Our play calling is bland and we throw in obvious rushing situations and rush in obvious passing situations. I honestly think he’s beginning to get passed by by the game. Like I said. I’m willing to see what he can do with a different QB but he leaves a lot to be desired so far.
