BM needs to be the QB. He has the dynamics we need and the offense has a different swagger with Maurer.
Hes been on campus over a year. At this point he should've gotten 3-4 weeks to prepare to start. It would be the perfect time to go to him. But I digress since JG didn't turn the ball over last week I dont think he gets benched

really frustrating to have to just sit around and watch JG and Pruitt implode the remainder of the season and continue to dismantle the fanbase. Good consistent QB play could possibly get us 4 more wins, but right now, with our D line not getting any pressure, the secondary regressing, and our offense on life support, Arky will clip us, Auburn's D will feast, and A&M/FL will cruise..... and we just have to sit back and watch it all unfold... mainly because of the mindset of one coach and one player... incredible.

The true love between JG and Pruitt is stronger than any boos, pick sixes, hot seats, or career-ending losses.

Should be able to run the ball at will vs Arkansas. But the times we do pass, will be the deciding factor of the game. No INTs
Hmm maybe, but not sure. Arky is currently 12th in the league in run defense...unfortunately we are 11th in run offense.

Arky's closest comparison is USC's run d. We averaged 4.03 YPC that game. If we could put up maybe 40 carries for 160 yards, that could be enough to help us win. Throw 30 times for 190+ or so. Depends on the defense.

On the other side, their run game appears to have very little chance against us. Unfortunately, their passing game should have opportunities. Not that they are great, we are just extremely poor there. Giving up about 9 yards per pass oof. For reference, Arky is giving up only 5.6 yards per pass.

Situational rankings:
3rs down defense
Arky 1st
UT 10th

3rd down offense
Arky 12th
UT 14th

Red Zone TD%
Offense
UT 4th
Arky 11th

Defense
Arky 2nd
UT 8th

I'm intrigued by their game tonight against AM. Last time I watched AM play they kind of found their identity running the ball in curious if they do it and do it well tonight

They did have virtually everything that could go wrong, go wrong, and they still won. They outgained BC by almost 200 yards. Had a fumble returned 97 yards for a td and had two ints taken away from roughing the passer, the first of which was a horrible call.

They were missing like 4 starters on defense besides Lawrence being out.

Wish Bailey would. Crazy how loaded they were last year. Everyone is going to be screaming at Pruitt next year when we finally play him. We’ll just keep hearing he wasn’t ready last year though.
Another angle is that his success in HS was certainly aided by ridiculous playmakers around him. He didn't need to be all that special with those WR's and TE.
