He’s not coming back. I think Pruitt should start someone else too but I am not paid the big bucks to make those calls. All I care about is getting to at least five wins. That should be enough to finish strong in recruiting. If we only win three games and Pruitt stuck with JG, then he deserves all the heat that he will get. Just have to wait and see how the back half finishes.

He might have won a few more games than Pruitt with a better QB. As I said then and will say again, he can’t recruit and would have a much tougher time at a place like UT.

There have to be major changes to win consistently. History has taught over many years and HC's at UT that what is being done does not produce consistent winning. I want Jeremy to succeed like nearly everybody, but my wanting him to succeed does not mean he will succeed. That's up to him. If he does not see or want to address the primary issues causing him to not succeed, he will be on the hot seat entering 2021. I have seen nothing so far that indicates #2 can lead this team to win more than 1 or 2 games the rest of the season. Maybe #2 can recover enough to play a good half to go with a meh half of each game. That would mean 2-3 wins depending on the type day the opponents had. We have seen A&M, Auburn, and UF get better as the season progressed. We know the ceiling of this team with #2, he is what he is.

So, is it worth stalling the future and making sure 2021 does not go as well as it could by playing #2 and maybe win 5 games on the season at best, but mostly likely less? I would be more inclined to keep Jeremy through 2022 to see what happens if he made the move toward the future this coming Saturday.

Will he get the time he needs to build a roster even at a place like MSU? I think he will eventually turn the corner but his track record is one of slow progress and plenty of down years.

He might be a guy that you only hire if your offense is already 90% of what he runs. In other words, he probably belonged back in the Big 12 if he was gonna leave Pullman.

I have to tip my hat to Sam Pittman. He understood Arky would never have the talent of Bama, LSU, Auburn etc. so he went out and hired a young innovative offensive mind that can win with lesser talent in Briles as well as a great hire in Odom.

In our OC search we looked at Briles but I think the sticking point was he wanted to bring his offensive line coach...so we would have to lose Friend as well? Sign me up.

FTR we also looked at Lebby who is killing it at Ole Miss.

My gut tells me he needs three years before he even gets to respectability at ANY program. But if he ain’t going to make some changes - like run the ball more and play a little defense - he’ll get run out of any SEC program.

Roman Harper was just on SEC nation saying that there should be no suspensions because of the magnitude of next weeks game. Holy hell! So if it was Vandy and Ole Miss, we would be ok with suspending everyone? This is exactly why we have some players who get into so much trouble after school because they are held to a different standard . That guy is a joke.

The announcer said that the SEC is going to review the tape to determine all the players and suspensions. If they want uga to win the East, it will be many players. If they prefer uf, then not so many.

It’s science...

He was probably one that got to play by his own rules when he was in college
