I don’t care if the energy is low around here. Off the bye week, we’re gonna come out with a purpose regardless of what Jarrett does or doesn’t do. I think the defense plays opposite to what they’ve shown & looks more like they should. Offensive line shakes off the rust and takes advantage of a run defense that is paltry at best. We also see Beckwith hit the field and either breaks off a nice run or catches a contested throw over the middle to help fire up the offense some. I’m definitely feeling a small youth movement start in this game. 33-21 U of T. LFG

Who are we rooting for today? Florida or Georgia? I am almost leaning Florida. If we were to beat them at the end of the year, it would be a big boost in recruiting.
A huge fight and a disqualification then 15-20 starters suspended for the year for Florida. Kirby has to become a eunuch due to his injuries and Dan Mullen quits.

I don't get apathy. As if some big goal is suddenly out of sight. We weren't winning a natty. Not expected at all to get to Atlanta.

The season's expectations was always a spectrum of sorts. I think, if any there is any goal, it is to see progress as a team and maybe win a game against the big 3. We have 5-6 more games to see that...

There's definitely time to turn things around. Something just seems off with the team this year which makes it really hard for me to get excited. JG has had two epic meltdowns but they've only given another QB 1 meaningful pass all season. And unlike last year, the middle of the pass defense has been total swiss cheese with holes everywhere. Also, hiring and firing a DL coach within 4 games is a really bad look for Pruitt. Either he hired the wrong guy or he fired him too quickly, either of which is a major mistake.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting excited about tonight because I'm not optimistic about either the QB situation or the secondary getting fixed. I hope I'm wrong but I'm dreading the game tonight. If this team ends up with 3 or 4 wins that would be a disaster.

All that said, I was pretty down on the team last year and the team turned things around. Here's hoping.

I want to give an update. When we called an ambulance, my dad refused to go, and they couldn't make or convince him. The next morning, my dad called with a change of heart and was willing to go! The prayers worked! As @Orangeredblooded said, God gave him a light to see all those around him and fight. And he did!

My dad has pneumonia and what they referred to as dangerously low potassium. Low to the point that it could have cause cardiac problems, even a heart attack if he waited any longer. He isn't out of the woods yet and has a spot on his lungs they want to look at once they clear the pneumonia. But he's fighting!

I didn't know what else to do the other day but pour my heart out here though tears. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and well-wishes! They helped save my dad's life and give him a chance.
The power of prayer is indisputable! So happy to read that he is fighting and so hopeful he fully recovers.

Many are biting their tongue and not criticizing or worrying about the program yet and that’s mainly because there are at least 5 games left. There’s still hope to turn things around.

If we lose to Arkansas tonight, a bottom tier SEC program with a 1st year HC, then you can officially say the season is off the rails. At that point it’s hard to suddenly start winning games again.
