CFB coaches are just like NFL QBs. There are about 10-12 really good ones at any given time and if you don't have one (and you aren't a blue blood program) you're irrelevant and have no chance of competing for a title.

It’s not the case. It’s an incredible dumb argument. Just like people who say UT will never be back. One great hire and Michigan/Tennessee/Miami/TX/USC/FSU are all top 10 teams for another decade plus.

What happened to FL after Meyer? They sucked until they got smart and hired back from that tree. OSU recognized the future is offense and was brilliant to stay in house and hire Meyer’s OC.

It all comes down to finding the right coach. All those programs have the resources in place to immediately go to the top with the right hire.

It’s 1 1/2 hours before the game. Since I can remember, at this point I would be fighting anxiety and restlessness looking so forward at the opportunity to watch the Vols. Just a total different feel for me today. Last time I had was Georgia, since it seems very insignificant to me.

Yeah didn't think I would say this but bring on Freeze. We got to have an offense. I don't care how good the defense is ,looking at Georgia all those 5 stars can't slow down a good offense. The game has changed so much, great oc's know how to beat a defense with just average players with a really good QB.
