Will look into that, good insight. I would at least think as being a QC for us for a year that they would have some type of input or influence to the offensive scheme. I know someone who is a QC for the App State team and he is involved in the defensive game planning. I’m sure some schools differ and some coaches have control issues to what they allow support staff to do.Just google some of his videos when he was the head coach in JUCO. You will be amazed at his thought process of running an offense. He's not gonna influence our offense, in his current position, on our staff. This is his first year as an on field coach for us.
I disagree.My only ask:
If we fire Pruitt it must be for Freeze.
Otherwise keep Pruitt and let him build for 2 more years.
midday 180 spellin' out about Freeze.
Dont hold your breath. Dude is an average hire. Pruit buyout isnt realistic. TN cant afford this scenario. Shouldnt bc he isnt worth it. All the baggage doesnt add up.
Stay course with Pruitt till next year or until better coach is available.
Nothing is happening this year as far as a head coaching change. And if next year is anything like this one as it relates to covid, nothing happens then either.I disagree.
If we win two or three games this season, I think you have to make a move regardless of getting a guarantee from Freeze or not.
And if that’s not good enough, 6 or fewer wins next season should be fireable.
I’d like to hear/learn more too.I’ve been seeing a lot of infatuation with Osovet. Since he has been on staff we haven’t really seen any influence of the RPO. Given we can’t really do too much with given our QB situation, but I think we would have at least seen a little sprinkle of spread influence or some small sets to install to create mismatches, but we haven’t really seen that. Can some share their thoughts on him?
That sounds great! But that type of scenario never plays out in Tennessee's favor.I’m good with giving Pruitt one more year mainly because I think Freeze stays at Liberty. It’s a win win situation IMO if Pruitt isn’t let go after next year then you would think the program is on the right track. If he’s let go and we hire Freeze (or another proven HC) the the roster should be talented enough for that new HC to have early success.
I don’t get this line of thinking. Keep a proven loser just Bc you don’t get 1 of countless coaches that could do far better? I love HF, don’t get me wrong but he is one of many that would do great things here.My only ask:
If we fire Pruitt it must be for Freeze.

UT isn't in a position or the mindset to clean house. But we could help some guys out the door and make it easy for them to go. Fulmer's really good at that-- i.e., Helton. Bet Pruitt could be, too, if there are guys he thinks are good coaches but not the right fit here.
That guy's videos are hilarious.Realistic me is saying we are pumping freeze up waaaaaay too much.
There's an overreaction to the pay cut thing. But I think there should be a focus on how generous Tee and Jay are and they should be praised.
Weinke and friend need to go at seasons end
@Atlanta VOL needs to hire me. I'll fly a plane. Why not. I do well in flight simulators until I need to land. But a little rough landing is no big deal. View attachment 322766
Those guys aren’t coming here. That’s the point. If we fire Pruitt we’re hiring coach McGoogle. And we’ll be right back here in 3 years. That’s the concern. We need a proven winnerI don’t get this line of thinking. Keep a proven loser just Bc you don’t get 1 of countless coaches that could do far better?
