I know a man who had a modest business in a growing field. When he retired, he “helped” choose his successor. The successor has been unable to exceed the modest success of the previous CEO despite rapid growth in the field.Phil secretly enjoys our misery and lack of success post-firing because everyone keeps pointing back to his regime in the 90s as the good ol days.
Phil has been in contact tracing quarantine. And he has also been fully behind JP staying and getting things put back together.[/QUOTE]
This implies that he is going to move the program forward, not backward like he has this season... this will be interesting to see, can't wait until it starts happening...
We’ll get talent we won’t develop, go 5-7 or 4-8, then hire the offensive coordinator from Wake Forest or something and start all over.
A lot of people accept the fact he'll be coach. They just don't want to be 3-9 next year. Some people can't get it through their heads that Pruitt will be our coach next year. It's not about what fans want, it's about what the university is willing to do. They're not bailing on Pruitt, especially in a year when revenue is so far down.

IMO, the previous CEO enjoys the fact that in ten years his successor has not moved the company forward. I think he intentionally chose a successor he thought would not and could not exceed his accomplishments, that way no one would recognized his own previous mediocrity.
Could be weird for me too, but it won’t. If I watched the Master’s on TV, it would be the first time for me and that would be weird. But there is no danger of me watching.Weird day for me. First Saturday at the Masters I’ve missed since 1993. Got the badge for this year as a souvenir though.
