When the Vols are winning, UT recruits itself. In-state talent is not the be all-end all it’s made out to be.

It’s getting better, but tell that to JaCoby Stevens and Tee Higgins. We were coming off a great end to 2015.

All except Monte. I didn't like how he used Berry by bringing him closer to the line and taking away his ball skills. And the game was changing.

Monte was awful. No other way to spin it.

Florida would probably be a mediocre team this year had Mullen not accidentally found Trask.

Put Frank’s back there and they’re like a .500 team. Trask is out there Burrowing for them.

Did Mullen or Shark-boy recruit him?

Leave to UT to be a early on Lane. Could have been a smooth transition except we get the immature kid who bolts.

Now he is a groomed head coach. A no doubter.

Plenty of doubt still. He needs to show he can hire a good DC and recruit defensive players.

Both of them went to winners.

LSU wasn’t much better than us in 2015. In fact, LSU almost fired Les Miles but waited after fans supported him after the last win. So a “fired” coach got the commitment.

Our program trajectory was headed up.

I have no problem with this board being more active during losses. A lot of great competitors hate to lose more than they love to win. If that’s what our collective consciousness shows, so be it. #LesMiserables

I would rather rejoice in wins and read a few other possible solutions to our problems besides

Something everyone keeps complaining about is a “boring, unimaginative, non-exciting offense” and wanting a Briles/Kiffin-style offense, but you can’t make chicken salad from chicken $h**. Franks and Corral are currently much better and much more confident than anyone Tennessee has on the roster

If the QB (whoever it is) can’t properly execute something basic then what would motivate a coach to try something exotic??

We saw the blueprint they want for JG against Arky (and it was working until he got hurt) and it won’t surprise me if they do it next game too.

Say what you want about Kiffin, but he often has his hands up signaling touchdown before the play even develops. Dude knows how to develop QB and score points.

He does. He is fun to watch. I just wish he had not left us so high and dry.

Exactly my point. And JG has overthrown some more this year.

I’m not piling on JG because he’s been through enough, but he’s just damaged goods right now.

I REALLY hope that HB has gotten up to speed these last couple of bye weeks and he’s got a good enough handle on things.

Tennessee doesn’t have to be GREAT to win the next two, but they need to be decent. Can HB limit the mistakes and run the offense effectively?

Yes or at least Shuler level. At this point, I'd take Bray over JG.

If we had Bray, we would be no worse than 5-1 right now.
