Like everyone else I want the best proven coach available but we always seems to attach to one name for whatever reason in here. Freeze is a good one to look at but I want to know who else is out there. We were toxic last coaching search and the proven coaches weren't going to touch UT but this time if CP did anything he has brought in good players and has built a base of good talent, just seems to not be able to develop the talent. jmo of course

Based on our past coaching searches, some lock on one coach, some lock on another coach, and others lock on still another coach. And most think their coach, or maybe one or two others, must be hired or else....

Yet, to my memory, of all past coaches we "must hire", Mullen is the only one who has proven he can win enough to make us happy. And just because he's doing it at UF, for only a short time thus far, doesn't mean he would do it here.

There just are very, very few sure bets.

Throw the completely inexperienced freshmen to the wolves...lose badly..Fire HC, pay buyout$$$...

Seems like a solid plan. Prepare the freshmen, lose out, and prepare for the Freeze future.

Or else just play the veterans, beat Vandy, hold onto HC for 12 more months...lose in 2021, fire HC, and hire Michael Mcgoogle.

That will be the case with 99% of the hires. I’m still not sold Freeze would be great there.

Spurrier won “big” there when Tennessee, Georgia and Florida sucked...and Clemson was still building.

They are always gonna be 4-8 to 8-4.
