There was a poster on here who threw a barb at me, but I thought it was a pretty good description. I wouldn't say I'm "in the know," but I have a lot of media contacts and they hear a lot of stuff they're afraid to report. I've got no skin in the game so I can talk about some of that stuff here.

Anyway, the reporting by Pete Thamel (who we all hate) last year that Fulmer was considering firing Pruitt and inserting himself as head coach, on a temporary basis, was correct.

I don't think it was ever going to happen - it was mostly Phil just throwing ideas out to his friends and former assistants, but he was talking about it.

If this is true and I’m not saying it isn’t but if it is I don’t know why people would think it far fetched an 8 game losing streak to end the year and losing to Vandy and Ky wouldn’t get him fired this year.

Absolutely. Don’t even let him coach Florida if that happens. Leave him on West End with the Kroger sack of baggy khakis he came here with. Nashville is closer to I-65 south toward Bammerville. I’m boiling at just the hypothetical.

I just don't see how CP gets another year if we get rolled by AM, UA, and UF. I have been saying he will be back next year and knowing how it goes for us here at UT he will be here no matter how bad we get beat.
