We found the career Fulmer hater. The man helped bring us our last national championship. That’s reason enough to cut him some slack. To make it worse, those like you that can’t stand him are the very reason he was run out of town. We got greedy and needy for no reason. Y’all are the very reason we’ve been in a near 15 year tumble.I have zero faith in fulmer
He won’t hire a coach that’s status is bigger then his.
He is the Primary reason we’re even in this situation
Fulmer got about six years of slack after it was clear the game passed him by. I do think certain things in football are cyclical and perhaps Fulmer's areas of expertise could someday be more germane to whatever the current trends are than was the case in the mid-2000s. I think the biggest reason Fulmer got the AD gig is he convinced the UT President, BOT, and some boosters that he would make a hire and bring the lunacy of the last search to a quick conclusion. He couldn't hire Leach because that was Currie's hail mary. He basically showed up with his list of three candidates and picked one. Maybe Fulmer could've made a better hire if he'd been on the search from the jump, or maybe not. He definitely made some bad assistant coach hires on the backside of his tenure, which is reason enough for fans to doubt him. That doesn't mean someone hates him or does not appreciate '98.We found the career Fulmer hater. The man helped bring us our last national championship. That’s reason enough to cut him some slack. I don't shout people down. I try to take each post on its own merits. I have my biases, just like you do. I am a reformed pumper, actually. I am out on JG, and very close to being out on Pruitt. The only reason I am not is because I am realistic enough to realize he is likely here through next year. I don't expect him to turn it around. That does not mean I hope he doesn't, just so I will be right.Maybe the pumpers are tired of being wrong year after year after year. Buying and selling false hope to each other. Shouting down anyone who questions the process. Yet here we are with the realists right once again and the pumpers in denial. “Corch will turn it around next week next year.” Maybe it’s time to hire the right sort for the job to actually satisfy both parties on gameday.
Vagueness creates uncertainty and doubt that the job is secure thus adding fuel to the fire.
Hubbs added some fuel to the fire. In Monday night chat someone asked if the HC job were open this year would Freeze be pursued and Hubbs said “I wouldn’t rule it out.”
That’s as vague as a Callahan recruit update. How is that adding fuel?

Thus adding clicks, traffic and attention to his website. That’s Hubbs’ job....
After all these years you still don’t speak Hubbanese?

Was that before the recruiting violations/NCAA sanctions and prostitution thing, or after?
