And we did but not a real football head coach. I said I would wait and judge him by results. Done some good things with the roster but he has absolutely stunk it up. I’m out and only way I would be back in is if he proved it on the field. I don’t see that happening but if he’s on the sideline in 2021, I’ll be hoping he does. However, I am not going to keep donating what I do I’d the continue to only see three games.

This. Every word. I stopped donating/buying season's tickets with the Botch 4th year melt down. Never started back when Jeremy came. He needed to prove it up since it was his first HC gig before my money went back to that program. He hasn't, so I haven't. I won't until he is gone and only if the new hire is legit. I will root for the players to do well and hope that he overcomes his incompetency for as long as he is there.

Steady regression as a program and with the team this season does that to folks.

I don’t think they realized what it took to keep a program at the top cause Phil always kinda controlled a lot of it. When Phil was let go they were left with their thumbs in theirs butts. Then when you make one hire and he bolts after a year, you panic and scramble to save face and money instead of going out and spending the money the first time to get who you want and who can lead us to Championships.

Then it just spiraled out of control and then we became the laughing stock of CFB and a example of what NOT TO DO.

I think it’s gonna take them throwing 50-70 million at a coach kinda like A&M. But then the “Control” issue also remains cause in places like Fl, A&M, OSU, Bama, the coach has A LOT of control, here that’s not the case. It’s a toxic dynamic when you can’t do what you want with Salaries and coaches.
And believe me, coaches talk, and they know how it is here and from what I’ve heard most won’t come cause they are micromanaged to an extent.

So that HAS TO CHANGE, or we are gonna be 4-8 year end year out with a 8-5 ceiling. And that’s the cold hard TRUTH.

All of y’all know what is going on. It’s been said here numerous times.

Anyways, maybe things will change but for now it’s pretty much the same way it’s been for a decade. Phil is making headway but he still has PLENTY of obstacles.

I will be a fan but I’m running out of time. Maybe my money would be better spent on Braves and Jackets. They don’t need my money at UT any longer. They don’t give a damn then why should I?

And the ones who don’t will be called NegaVols. “Trust the coaches”, “I’m sure you know more than the coaches”, etc. I will say I’ve seen a much larger percentage of posters agreeing on getting rid of Pruitt than Butch. A decent chunk were defending him until the very end.

lol it’s a lot easier to hit the off button on a remote than move out of the country. Canceled season tickets and donations (albeit not F U money), haven’t bought any UT apparel in the last 2-3 years and have only watched 1 half of UT football this year. It’s truly not that hard to be “done” on this 3 ring circus, especially if “leadership” doesn’t care.

30-06 and .380. I guess I should stock up on 9mm even tho I’ve got about 5 boxes of that. Shelves are empty everywhere I’ve looked and online stores are all out of stock. It’s nuts. Look, I think the new admin is crazy, but are people really expecting war to come?

Some of us expected it last 2 terms so we knew going into this deal. I’ve been bartering some to friends, they’re hardheaded. But try Sgammo they have some 9 at the moment, not sure about the other 2.
