This was supposed to be the 1st time JG had the same OC 2 years in a row and the hope was the light would finally come on. I can see why they gave him a chance and I admire them for not giving up on a hard working kid but it went on too long. They screwed up by not having another qb ready. Pruitt as a 1st time HC might not have known how important that is (I bet he does now) but a highly paid highly experienced OC sure should have. In my mind Chaney isn’t just the play caller - the whole offense should be his baby. That includes being a QB whisperer if he needs to be. I don’t think he’s who Pruitt needs.

Unfortunately on the current configuration of the Coaching Staff the strong coaches are a shorter list. Tee and Graham are solid at their positions. Neids is an asset but is in the wrong spot. Weinke is the weak link. Felton is out of his league. Ansley may be a good DB coach without the pressure of being DC as well. Friend is average. Not sure about Chaney without knowing whether Pruitt is handcuffing him or if modern Offense has passed him by (or both). Pruitt has a lot of shortcomings. Hiring staff is a big one. Public Relations and a grasp of proper English is another.

tifwiw but the word toxic is being used to describe the dynamic amongst the staff from those “close to the program”.

If that’s indeed true I could see Tee and JG jumping ship or forced out.

I don't see JG being forced out as a bad thing. I actually think that should have happened weeks ago

Edit: I bet you're talking about Jay Graham. I thought you meant the other guy. Carry on

I never get rid of anything but I understand the thinking. I’m not a 9mm fan but recently got another because of the ammo situation with cost and availability.
That's me. Kinda in the same boat as @Bassmaster_Vol the wife has the .380, and I'm low on both, can't find either anywhere... So it's good to see some other resources posted here.

Pruitt’s love affair with losing is providing tons of ammunition on this board

You guys are nuts if you believe he has a love affair with losing. If anything I think the success he’s had at his previous stints may actually be a detriment to his coaching decisions. I honestly believe he’s in no mans land and doesn’t have a compass.

I dabble with assembling ARs. 556/223 has gotten expensive and rare. It was less expensive for me to assemble a new AR in 7.62x39 (much cheaper and available round) than to pay the exhorbitate 556 prices.
You mean the weapons that were all lost in a horrible boating accident? Biden can’t tax what is on the bottom on the sea....

Yes, it was tragic. I hope at least it's the start of a glorious coral reef so fish can enjoy them if I can't. So sad.
