I wouldn’t be mad. It’s is his dream school. I wish he would go ahead and go. I think he has given this job his all, he just isn’t cut out to be a head coach right now. There are a good amount of good coaches that we could get this year so we need to take advantage. Plus, I’m worried about losing the 22 class. We can’t afford to not land the kids from Tennessee.

Another reason I want Freeze, he has in roads in Memphis like crazy. A lot of talent from that area has gotten away that wouldn't with him.

Nah, its about how recruiting is handled. He hates over recruiting and kids schools taking chances on players who probably won't make it, but are given a chance anyways.

I wouldn’t take Herman. If he can’t win big at Texas he sure wouldn’t here.

One important thing about this hire is that it offer hope. Hope is all that has been keeping us going since Fulmer was fired. We hire Herman or Fuente (good grief Kingston), there’s no hope there.

Freeze is the guy. Campbell and Fickle offer hope, tho I don’t think either come here. I don’t know much about Napier.

I want us to hire Freeze because he’s as close to a sure thing as there is. But I don’t want a retread if we don’t go that route. Give me an up and comer who brings hope over a guy that we know can’t succeed at a high level

I think Herman would have us beating the people like Vandy and UK and Mizzou and SC but I’d worry if he could beat UGA (even though he has) and Bama and Florida. I think he’d win 8-9 annually and recruit well enough. Not exactly a homerun but IF and a big IF we went the route of a retread a coach I would be irate if they called Fuente and not Herman. All that said Hugh Freeze is the answer in my opinion unless for some wild reason we could get Urban which won’t happen.
