And in bunches. I suspect that starting with Georgia, people figured out Chaney’s play calling tendencies when JG is in. So, didn’t take long for them to realize that gave up the middle of the field and were throwing out routes and go routes. Then, when JG started his downward spiral, Chaney doubled down and called even fewer plays to riskier parts of the field. I bet Stoops was like “don’t worry about getting beat deep. We will take those odds. Jump every out route.”

With the way JG was playing there was literally zero downside to playing the next guy after KY, even if Bailey wasn’t ready and couldn’t have done better you would have gotten game reps for the guy next year.

Total and complete mismanagement of the QB position from top to bottom. The COVID stuff is an excuse.
