I don’t believe Bailey was ready because I heard from the grandparents of a student manager who basically said as much. However, I do think a change should have been made earlier to let him or Shrout just get more experience and being a little raw was still a better option than JG. Plus, people wouldn’t be so hard on JP if they had lost with Bailey.

If Bailey had started at or after the UK game I don’t think CJPs job would be at stake.

So today we are missing:
1. Starting RB
2. Starting RG
3. RB Coach
4. DB Coach
5. Defensive Coordinator
6. DL Coach

With a true freshman QB and C. Playing a team looking to make a statement and the playoffs. Not good Bob. Not good.
Have faith. HB is ready. Jabari Small will shine. Pruitt will call the defense as if his life depends on it. We will be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy the victory. 🍊

I’ve heard the same since Pruitt got here yet more and more young guys leave or fail to produce at a SEC level and our best players have been the previous staffs

Our best player on both sides of the ball is a Pruitt recruit. Unless we wanna say Trey is the best O player.

I didn’t realize Napier was a TN boy. I can warm up to him in that case a little more knowing he would have a real passion for being here similar to freeze. Just don’t really know how good he is. He was elite recruiter as an assistant. Struggle his first go as OC then didn great work with Bama WRs and had good one year as OC at AZ st before being a HC. Only time I seen him though was his really odd coaching decisions in a game this year where I believe he took a saftey that made no sense. So I can’t say my first impression helped my thoughts on him

I didn’t see it but read about that. Apparently his long snapper had messed up 3 straight snaps on punts and he was worried about giving up the ball inside the 35 being up by 5 points. So with the ball at his own 35 he instructed his QB to run out the back of the end zone and take the safety instead of taking trying a punt. Really strange call. Other team took the ensuing kick restart and drove down for a 30 yard FG but Cajuns blocked it. They don’t block that and it’s a tie game. So it worked out for Napier, but really weird call.

He probably has quite a few in GA too, with his late dad being a coach for so long and his two brothers being current coaches.
Of course. Georgia, Florida and the Carolinas are lifeblood. Just wouldn’t mind the occasional difference maker from other states...and we haven’t had an impact in the Bayou State for forever and a day.

This is great news for Phil and Pruitt and boosters... We have an excuse now when we get drilled by 30. Pruitt ain't going nowhere y'all
