“Several BIGTIME donors in town this weekend tells me the smoke is pretty real. I think JP has a good relationship with Charlie Anderson but not sure how well he has bonded with others. This internal deal is rough timing for JP imo.”

- Price

That coming from price speaks volumes to me honestly

BOO! Well, except for the fire Pruitt part.
Fickell and Campbell should both realistically be ahead of Freeze. Those are both slam dunk hires.

I think this idea that Freeze thinks of TN as a dream job really is messing with people's judgment. You would be hard pressed to find too many people in the CFB world who could tell you Freeze is a better coach than those two with a straight face.

As far as Napier, I think he's a better coach than Beldar at least.

All I see are guesses. Smoke! Boosters! So and so likes or doesn't like so and so!

We have all seen this before. On this very board.

I think he is a good developer, but I wonder can his offense keep up. He seems a lot like Jimbo and old school Saban of control clock offense. I think he could win here and be consistently an eight win coach, but I don’t see him ever getting over the hump. But I wouldn’t dislike the hire. He is 100x better than Pruitt. I just like Freeze, Campbell, others more.
Yeah...I’d hate to have the success of a Jimbo or Saban coaches team.

Tony B saying the administration individually went into each of the coaches offices and pulled files and hard drives concerning this “internal investigation”

I believe this is standard procedure especially if they’re aiming for an at-cause dismissal, meaning there may be more than NCAA compliance at play. Not privy to the details of either case, but know they pulled John Trembly’s hard drives as part of this investigation (not football, but still would follow similar internal protocol).
