Some current HC names to watch:
Jeff Brohm wants out of Purdue, we basically hired him last time.
Scott Satterfield wants out of Louisville.
Bryan Harsin has had beef with the Mountain West or whatever conference Boise is in, so he may be ready to move.
Harsin's the guy. Makes 1.8 million per year with only a $250,000 buyout. I believe his record at Boise State is 45-8. Has past connections with Steve Caldwell.

We self-reported. Compliance immediately opened an internal investigation. We brought in legal and have been very thorough. We've been proactive, are cooperating and will self-impose. Others schools have done far less for worse.

This has been going on for a while, even though it just went public today.
Is there a chance that this gets swept under the rug and Pruitt comes back? I don't want that but.......

What can the ncaa take from this program that we haven’t already suffered atp if they find something not worried at all...

Where were you at on the drops👀 (insider) couldn’t have given us a little crumb 👌🏽 Of hot takes.instead you’re playing it cool as if nothing is new and doing some damage control😅 NIIIIIICEEEEE

Have I not said over and over and over for weeks that the past two games wouldn't influence the outcome? That this hire would be made from the top? That firing for cause was tricky because it usually involves others up the chain? That Boyd would make a decision after the season was over? To let it play out?

The only thing new today is that it was "leaked." The internal investigation was opened weeks ago.

👀😂😂😂 hey @BruinVol i found your championship caliber winnings stats brought to you by JG’s tailgating fan club

Over the last four seasons, Guarantano appeared in 41 games. He was 494-of-808 passing, a 61.1 completion percentage, for 6,174 yards, 38 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. Guarantano also rushed for 5 TDs, including 4 this season.
Guarantano’s most poorductive year was 2019, when he threw for 2,158 yards, 16 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.

Report: Tennessee QB enters NCAA transfer portal minutes after the Vols loss to Texas A&M

I know you are extremely happy with how this ended for him. Congrats

One thing I am confused on

If this investigation has been going on for a few weeks why was gray finally sat out today?

or was gray being out today totally separate?

Why would a guy from Boise, who played at Boise and is winning at Boise leave to come to this dumpster fire? He’ll be fired within 4 years. It’s career suicide.

remember 2015 season ending, going into 2016 Top #10. Was supposed to sign Lawrence and Higgins the next year and had one of the best in state classes you’ll ever see. Future looked like it headed in the right direction. We were so close yet so far

Same thoughts walking out of the stadium in Tampa...

Nieds is the main focus of the investigation. Pretty damning and blatant things that will come out in the next few days. Didn't come out and say it explicitly, but other schools in the conference reported us to the NCAA. Compliance was interviewing players yesterday, and seizing things out of coaches offices. Gray and Maurer's absences were related to the investigation. Ansley and Jay were out for Covid. Said what he heard without giving up his sources were very damning. He said the allegations were very blatant and damning, really dumb for us to think we could get away with it.
But we were assured Kirby was about to go down for the same thing. We all know Kirby is the guy who dropped info on Nieds. Well played Kirby, well played...

Do you think we'll self impose a bowl ban and a reduction in all senior scholarships for this year :cool:
