I'm not happy about it but I have watched this sh!t show foe too many years now and I refuse to allow the dysfunction of UT football to ruin my mood and/or day. As far as the TV clowns that think he deserves another, I choose to laugh at their stupidity and lack of vision instead of becoming hateful over it..

Pruitt did what was needed when he was hired.... a better, more disciplined roster to hopefully get a better coach. Unfortunately the NCAA makes it about as bad. Decision... Go after a big name that can keep the players from the portal and excite the fans, or go after someone with head coaching experience that can stabilize the program and gradually get better???

You say this like we're going to have all these options. We'll take who we think is the best candidate from tier three and be right back where we are now in 3 to 5 years. Our house is so screwed right now. The program has been all but raised to the ground.....destroyed!

I kind of remember it as someone “hearing about” it. The guy coached every position before we hired him. I find it highly interesting that the TE’s taught themselves to catch the ball the last three games...coinciding with Bailey actually targeting them.

That 2015 team. What a huge missed opportunity in retrospect.

Yup. Couldn’t hold on to leads. Shoulda been 11-1 with a rematch vs Bama in championship. All we had to do was stop Florida on one of those 4th downs and we win the East even with ARK, Bama and OU loss. That was with losing Curt too, he was a very big loss. He made a lot of clutch plays for us in 2014 and was a leader on D.

Looking back we probably shoulda just kept Jancek and the S&C coach. Defense regressed badly under Shoop and we had too many injuries, jrm, DKj, Sutton. A better coach leads us to an 11 win season in 16 too no doubt. I remember Butch focused so much all off season on finishing the 4th quarter ig he forgot to prepare his team for the first 50 minutes of the game Cost us Vandy Scar and A&M smh

Yes, they vet every hire. The red flags were there. He was hired with the expectation that Fulmer would help and "transition" him.

I remember I asked if we even vetted Jurmy Bc of what Aaron Murray said and his run ins with assistants...

And someone replied to me that their old boss did that old school “look em in the eye” crap...
