Can some one sell me on Gus? I know he went to the natty in 2013, but every other year he has had at least 4 losses. Obviously better than CJP, but this doesn’t excite me at all as a fan.

Don’t get consumed by all of this. Check it periodically, then go on about your business. Don’t believe anything as gospel truth. Be discerning and draw your own conclusions. Don’t let the timing of comments by others dominate your life during this season. No idols, people nor universities. Despite what you think, God is in control of everything, including UT Football. Whether Pruitt is fired or retained, whether they do it now or tomorrow or next year, whether they go 14-0 or 0-14, it is all happening according to the perfect will of God. Trust in God, not in posters or boosters or UT Football. He will work it all out in His timing, so if you can’t find peace in anything else, find peace in the omnipresence and omnipotence of God now and always.

This playoff committee just isn’t working.

One thing about March Madness is there are so many games it leaves a ton of uncertainty even for the best teams, because they have to fade 6 games in a row vs the best.

Maybe we should go 8 or 16 teams and just hope the march madness effect takes hold and Bama and Clemson trip up with more games. Idk. Not that I love this either, but SOMETHING has to change. Shiz is STALE.

His record is better than terrible.

I say "his" record. Gus is their play caller, effectively their OC, and hasn't had an offense rank in the top 25 nationally in 6 years.

Auburn has had an outstanding defense since 2016. Auburn boosters, who actually watch their games unlike people on this board, realized that and tried to ditch Gus for the person who is actually responsible for their limited success.

But a bunch of UT fans who don't watch them play but get a chubb over 8 wins don't understand this.
