He doesn’t have the national championship under his belt yet for that kind of move, but I would like to see them throw something like 5 years $35 million at him, including fat stacks for recruiting and assistant coaching staff.

Petersen is the only guy out there without a national championship worth throwing that kind of money at IMO.

I would be interested to see what the Gus/Morris offense would be if given more than 1 season to get going. And that 1 season not have been in pandemic yr with brand new OL. They started to make some progress as season went

I think Gus would be fine as a CEO type. Hire 2 veteran coordinators, not just DC. Someone else he can trust play calling with. And a really good QB coach. He’d dominate the transfer market imo

The P5/"Autonomous 5" group's #1 goal moving forward should be to find ways to increase parity. They need to put some serious work and research into this. Decrease/increase signing limits? Decrease/increase roster totals? May even go so far as to decreasing annual number for playoff teams (like professional leagues put their best teams at the bottom of the draft). Pro sports have salary caps to make their product better. We need SOMETHING. Some of these seem extreme, but at this point WHATEVER IT TAKES. The product suuuucks. There is NO sport like CFB that is so utterly dominated by 3-4 teams.

Stop letting the top 3 run EVERYTHING.
