Exactly what Atlvol and LA vol said. Its not Fulmer's choice to make

It may not be his decision but what if he talks the money people into another year of Pruitt? Or what if they simply don’t give a damn anymore and don’t want to spend millions on little to no return buying out yet another coach.

What is he supposed to say? I don't think "this is a great primer for spring ball for our players but not Pruitt. Just the players and everyone else except JP because he won't be the C here anymore..." will work out very well.
How about this:

"We are excited to have the opportunity to play in the Liberty Bowl against a great team in West Virginia. Our team is young, and the extra opportunities will help our players continue to develop and be a great springboard into spring practice"

What I’m telling you is they will be “in support” of whichever way this thing swings.

They are not backing Fulmer right now.

Fulmer has two people on his side - Thunder Thornton and Charlie Anderson. The rest are in the fire Pruitt camp.
What is the number of the “rest are in the fire Pruitt camp” ? I’m not familiar with the names or the number of individuals in this group. If you care to elaborate ?

No clue if this is true or not, but from a random poster on TOS
"I have read a few comments about Eric Gray, but based on what I was told this evening out of the football facility, that he repaid a meal that he and a member of his family had on campus, and there will be no more issues. The person inside the facility said that Eric Gray is one of the best kids in the building on and off the field, and will be counted on significantly moving forward to lead the program."

Trey Wallace is a big-time cheap-shot artist if this is all this stuff amounts to.

Or what if they already went fishing behind the scenes and didn’t catch what they wanted?

It’s easy tho, just don’t look at my post. Problem solved. I never tried to be a “insider”. Don’t give two ***** what anyone thinks. I just bring lil nugs to this place cause at the end of the day we are all family.

I’m not gonna divulge exact info I hear or am told or am involved with.

Once again, feel free to ignore my post. Merry Christmas
Please don't stop giving us info

I just hope HB gets the start and stays in. This qb by committee is complete bs. Firmly believe HB was trying to hard after coming back in and doubting hisself after the JT TD.
Hell, start either one and roll with them tbh!
I’ve watched every WVU game this year, they’re good, but we can beat them.
I think we can rush for over 200 yards on them.

A primer for Pruitt's spring practice. There was no reason for that quote unless he's coming back.
Fulmer may be playing both sides. He knows what's gonna happen but he playing Pruitt into believing that he has his back and everything is ok, Then when he fires him he's not the bad guy and he did all he could to help him.

It’s very much a grey area because it’s such a great partnership. What’s good for one is good for the other so they operate basically as one entity when possible.

Yea, Learfield wouldn’t be involved if UT didn’t have a product that people listened to. I have no doubt that all radio employees were in meetings with UT folks about the broadcast. The determining factor would be if Hubbs’ contract was reported publicly because a public school would have to publicize it. Kesling’s salary may very well be publicized because he also was involved with UT’s media or communications department.

But part of head coaches’ salaries have been paid by Learfield or that school’s media partner for years now.

The point of the hubbs being an employee for UT or not is who controls the message and information. The assumption that IMG pays his paycheck, therefore, UT does not control the message is erroneous. UT is a client to IMG and they are contracted to handle UT media rights and services. At the very worst, UT is the client of the company Hubbs works for so the control of message remains the same as if he were an employee. You don't release information or narratives without the direction of your client. Why would UT pay a company to rep them if they will cause PR problems?

The end result is the same so it's ultimately irrelevant who pays the paycheck.

This is the scary possibility. What if we've reached out to people behind the scenes and been told no? I know, "Hugh Freeze wouldn't say no", but what if UT doesn't consider Freeze an option?

This is what I was trying to say but you said it better.
