Wouldn't surprise me if they are gonna make as many changes in the staff as is being rumored. Plus it allows Pruitt and that staff a full cycle+ to work on that 22 class with at least some semblance of confidence that staff could realistically be around and stable for a while.

That's best case obviously, not a prediction lol.

If Pruitt comes back but they make 3-5 changes on staff. Just lmao. Just no words

The investigation has f’ed with the normal timing for something like this. Going to create a lot of angst for them and us.

How is the upside here higher? AUB has won a NC and played for another in the last 11 years. With 2 different coaches. That’s pretty high upside.

Both do have the potential to be excellent jobs. AUB BOT is too involved and that’s why nobody wants to coach there. Not letting coaches pick their staff.

That's my point. Expectations at UA are sky high but we here would be happy just some improvement in the near term after what we have been through. I think the coach that takes this job would have a longer honeymoon that at UA, or even USC.

Napier comes here and wins 7, 8, 8, 9 in four seasons and we are thrilled. At Bama, UGA, and UF, they would be fired. This is what our administration has created. And the thought of bringing back a three win coach would have never been accepted even ten years ago.

In-laws are literally freaking out, as much as they wanted Gus gone, they don't see the point of firing him to promote Steele. I told them that maybe they are thinking they can hire an really good OC easier than they could get a really good HC.
