I do not know you. But I read your posts. You twist people's words. You incite. You provoke. You stir the pot. You're rude. It's the kind of poster you are.

I'm singling you out, because YOU responded to my post, which was not directed at you. You found it somehow appropriate to attribute things to me that I didn't say so you could pit one poster against another. I do not say other posters are "FOS" and I didn't mention any poster by name. I wasn't referring to any one poster. I have no idea what ATL Vol said or didn't say, since I haven't read his posts. YOU made that connection, because you were doing what you do. Being who you are.

So ignore me and I'll ignore you. It shouldn't be a hardship for either of us.

Let me be really precise and simple so perhaps you can understand.

UT has policies. The AD is not exempt from these policies and answers to those above him. He does not have the unilateral authority to block firing the HC. He has several bosses. Those bosses do not defer to him. They can, in fact, override him or act to remove him from his position.

So the AD is not mandating what his bosses-- or the University of Tennessee-- can or cannot do. The AD has opinions and expresses those opinions. He does not make decisions with these financial implications as a committee of one. He doesn't "block" anything the Chancellor or President want to do.

The AD doesn't have the authority to make deals at this level without his boss's signature. That is also policy.

I realize that someone like you would have no idea how UT is run. So maybe you should stick to things you actually know something about. I have no idea what that might be, but surely there's something.

Bodyslam!
