To me it just sounds like he threw out his opinion not a fact. How can you say 20% will like the next coach when no one knows who it is. Sounds like a frustrated statement to me.

This is the best year to make a move. There are a lot of good candidates. Napier, Freeze, Chadwell, Elliott, or even Brown. Not every year do you have three coaches who would walk here immediately to coach UT. The time is now before those others get picked up by a bigger program.

All those you mentioned are tier two coaches. All have question marks beside their names. Most were not on anyone's radar a year ago. Are those coaches better than Pruitt? Most likely. Also, all those guys won't get better jobs this year.

Nice Start on that!...also everything mentioned is practically Volnation this is a forum.not a political presidential run for office.nobody is perfect not even you or the high horse position you hold in the university buddy and with how things have been looking over the last 10 years maybe you spend a little bit too much time on here.just from a long time typical

Tennessee probably wants Auburn to hire Freeze so whenever they do fire Pruitt they can say "welp he wasn't available derp"

Freeze is still my #1.

I think Napier has the best chance to be the next Freeze or Mullen without the baggage.

Chadwells team is nasty. I'm okay if this is where we land too. Because if has another great year somebody else will snatch him up before we make a move if we try to wait. He's worth a shot to me and would love to be here.

I think Napier/Chadwell would both be better than Malzahn. At least they would care about the Vols. I want somebody that wants to be here. They both have had more success than Dooley did and would fit the culture better than Butch did.

We say we want somebody that can handle the pressures of this job. Did Malzahn handle the pressure well at Auburn? Meh.

Gus pulled so many rabbits out of his hat, I afraid they are not any left. Just like Grasseater.
