Our friends in Texas have a 95 acre ranch SW of Ft. Worth. They have a Great Pyrenees dog named Bo that guards their small herd of cattle all night, then sleeps during the day. Very gentle dog, but he keeps all coyotes away. They also have two donkeys, but I would go with the dog.

Two donkeys will kill every coyote that comes near. Saw one stomp a coyote to death once. They’re some strong mf’ers
