I read through so many pages and perhaps I have missed it. We know we have a faction of the money people wanting to move on from Pruitt. Any word from our "insiders" on who the money people want to be the coach? Seem to be running out of options.

Kiffin is a middling coach. If we hired him, we'd be pretty dumb to do so. You are taking a lot of baggage for pretty pedestrian success. He's a 6-6 to 8-4 coach unless he can pull top 2-3 classes (which he cannot at a place like UT because you need to win first then get those kind of classes). The only upside if we hired him is that he wouldn't leave us for a better job becasue no one would be trying to steal him away.

There were plenty of morons that didn’t want Mehlen despite the fact he has never had a QB he couldn’t coach into a star. People couldn’t comprehend you can’t compare Miss st to what he would do with even more talent

No he's not. He's a genius offensive mind who would let a defensive coach do what he does best. It would be a great hire because we would have an Elite offense.
