Possibly or if we play like two years ago at the end..... we have a decent chance of beating them......I semi like Lane too but he is the most over hyped coach in the country based on what he has accomplished.

His career has two parts. Pre Saban and Post Saban. Anyone can see now he isn’t the same guy that went to work for Saban

Been there done that on the ACL rehab. Hope all goes well !
It’s brutal! I had a TPLO done on my pits’s 4 years ago and he has torn the other side now. After talking with some breeders, vet that did his surgery and a rescue I decided to not have the other one fixed. Apparently they end up worse off if you have to have both repaired.

How is he that much different? He did decent a Florida Atlantic but nothing other worldly....... he even had a 5 win season in year two....he had all kinds of issues with Saban leading up to the national championship game after he accepted the FAU job.

An ideal coaching staff from Hugh that’s attainable (assuming Tee and Graham are retained) probably looks like

HC: Hugh Freeze
OC/OL: Matt Luke
QB: Dan Werner
RB/ST: Jay Graham
WR: Tee Martin
TE: Maurice Harris (as mentioned above with him at LU rn)
DC: Will Muschamp
DL: Chris Kiffin (currently with the Browns, no he was not on Lanes staff in ‘09)
LB: Jerod Mayo (for those who don’t know he’s with the Pats as the ILB coach)
DB: Travaris Robinson (Ex South Carolina DC)

For S&C I have no idea. He could honestly just keep the same program and bring Fitz back if that’s in the realm of possibility. Should he as horrid as the Giants have been

He literally won at historic records at FAU. Now I’m not saying that means he’s greatest coach in world but he literally walked into FAU and won more games in 3 seasons than the 8 seasons before he was there. All while the most wins in any of those 8 seasons were 6.

Also, he was the guy who Saban hired to overhaul Saban’s approach to offenses and scheme. I don’t think the excuse of “if he’s good enough for Saban, he should be good enough for us” is an excuse worth anything. We’ve seen that with countless Saban assistants who go off on their own and fail. However, Saban changed and adapted to the new way of college football and offenses. He hired Kiffin of all people to do it and had great success.

There’s not W/L record that can be attributed to him being the guy that ushered in Saban’s adaptation to the game, but it’s clear there was no reason outside of that why Saban would hire the guy.

What he did at FAU was a miracle of its own given the above I mentioned on his 3 seasons vs the 8 seasons (two full recruiting cycles) before him.

Kiffin is gonna be thorn in the side of a lot of SEC teams. I just don’t understand why people are so out on him if we are gonna be seeing him every year light people up in the same conference.

Outside of his X and O’s, he’s an arrogant prick and I deep down believe he wants to be the guy to take out Saban. He can have a win here and there vs him but Ole Miss won’t become a perennial contender down the road. They just don’t have infrastructure. It’s very rare to find coaches out there that are public about their cockiness of “I want to be the guy that takes down Saban” or “we aren’t losing to Georgia as long as I’m coach”.....

When is last time we had a coach that generated energy for stating their intentions and where they want to take a program? Saying “every coach is judged on Bama, Florida, and Georgia” isn’t the same as “we’re gonna be singing Rocky Top down in Gainesville after the game. Lets get to work”

Interesting...I have heard that if they tear one there is a 90% chance the other will tear. Rehab is a LOT of work.

Lol. The Giants are going to the playoffs in the staff’s new year now that Haskins is back as QB of the redskins.

That doesn’t mean they’re good. Winning the NFC East is like one of those 7-5 Mountain West teams that got drilled by Boise in their conference title game going to the Las Vegas bowl just to get smacked around again by Arizona to finish with the rare 7-7 record. Whoever gets them 1st game is gonna have basically another bye. I guess they could sell they made the playoffs but it certainly wasn’t because they were a good team

On my birthday this past summer, me, my son, my best friend and his son spent the day playing Sweetens Cove right outside of Chattanooga. (Peyton is co-owner of the course)... Little did I know that the father and son playing 2 holes in front of me was Peyton and Marshall. It wasn’t until the end of the day when I signed the book that I realized it. But I thought it was pretty cool to sign my name right under his... I’ve played golf all over the world and Sweetens Cove is one of the most incredible places on the planet. Some of the toughest green complexes I’ve ever seen. (I leave for Bandon Dunes in 3 weeks for my 8th annual guys trip too. That’s the real Christmas Day for me.)

Just your update.......Still no tweet from the Pruitt account

🤔

This actually has me thinking a change might be taking place more so than anything else that has been posted.

edit: This plus Dylan Brooks not signing yet are the two things that generate the most smoke to me now.

For a first year staff to take the Giants to the playoff, that means raises and extensions are coming. Fitzgerald would be a moron to leave.
