In the last two seasons, the only teams Napier lost to were Miss St (they were only down 7 with 3 minutes left), twice last year to 13-1 App St, by 10 and 7, and this year to Coastal on a last second fg. They did beat Iowa St 31-14, outscoring them 21-0 in the 2nd half after going into the half down 14-10. If not Freeze, Napier would be a great choice.

I’d rather keep Pruitt than hire Chadwell.

It takes him years to get his programs turned around and I have no faith he can do it against SEC level teams - both on the field and in recruiting.

He looks to be a solid coach. These successful group of 5 coaches scare me though. I just look at Scott Frost and what he did at UCF compared to what he's doing at Nebraska and I cringe. I'm sure there's plenty of examples of the opposite, but I'm too lazy to google it.

Maybe some of the DB's, interior line may be serviceable at best, but the linebacking group outside of To is straight slaw.

I think both couch and banks are very adequate against the run. They just can’t cover in space but honestly what MLB can cover in space when the QB has all day long?

I remember some very heated arguments here regarding AJ Johnson being too slow and awful in coverage and that guy is playing some really good football right now in the nfl
