Understand frustrations are high, but I will not be joining the pile on in regards to Coach Fulmer.

I remember how excited we were just three short years ago to have him calling the shots because other decision makers had proven their ineptitude for a decade.

He is likely standing in the way of Pruitt being fired. I want Pruitt fired so that irritates me. But it’s not like he’s making the decision out of malice - he wants to give Pruitt another year.

Like I said, I want a change made and I think there are influential people trying to make it happen. But Phillip Fulmer is not our sole issue. We know what the problem is: we’ve got too many boosters who would rather bitch and moan and complain about why things aren’t going their way instead of writing a big check and saying “I’m in charge now.”

Give me anywhere from today till I die, hopefully I win the lottery, and when I do.....everyone is gone. Like none of y'all better step back on campus.

and turning on your own causing more ncaa problems than needed isn’t the answer for such a reboot.

You of all posters should know that being that you have posted many times about everyone pulling the same rope in the same direction.

now you want more divisive division? I think you just want what you want instead of thinking about what could be catastrophic to the program

Your position assumes that the status quo is a viable existence. I think what AV, and many others, are pointing out is that the fallout from keeping Pruitt another year will do more damage long-term to the program than a brief messy struggle that results in banishing the establishment that has gotten us where we are today. It's always easy to assume things will get better if there is just patience, but the reality is that being ok and patient are the bitter rivals of greatness.

In your scenario of needing unity, one irrational person can hold the whole university hostage. This is just 2008 all over again. Fulmer refusing to acknowledge and fix bad personnel decisions and manipulating boosters/friends to enable him to maintain his destructive position. It appears it's going to play out the same way: a slow, painful, public death that is bad for everyone. How is that any different than what AV proposes which is to get that death over now and start the recovery?

Man hell no. This is the problem. This university takes complete advantage of this fanbase. Look at revenue totals for the last ten years even when we have sucked. It’s still one of the top on the country. Stop blindly following an administration that gives two s*** about this fanbase. It’s time to start making our voices heard. Stop buying tickets and giving them money. They do not care about you or anyone else. They care about padding their pockets and giving you a s*** sandwich every Saturday. Stop allowing it to continue. If revenue gets cut in half from fans support they will finally make a proven hire. Think about this, we beat a high school team, team who fired their coach, and a team with a first year head coach. Every other game was a blow out loss and he has more blow out losses than Dooley and Butch combined. Yet they are bringing him back because they believe fans will still show up. What a slap in the face. It is going to be leaked now to see how fans react. Well let it be known we don’t agree and we are tired of it. We’re like the abused dog who won’t leave because we are so loyal. That has to end now.

I think we are all adults and can figure out what we want. If I stopped watching and my 10 year old son caught on, then he could become apathetic and not care anymore. Whether we win or lose, he loves visiting campus and watching a game in Neyland. The games we’ve attended have also been wins.

I’m 6 hours away, and a trip to Knoxville in the fall in a non Covid year is an annual tradition, and I think I will keep it that way.

I think if Pruitt is back they do need to go in a different direction with the offense with a new oc but how many times will Pruitt blame things on a oc. He already replaced offensive coordinators after year one. I know Helton got a hc job but the word was Pruitt suggested he leave.
I think I’d like to see Osovet given the OC reigns...

I need this place...I haven't said anything about it before now, but my Dad is having multiple heart valve replacements on the 29th and the docs say he may not survive it, but if he doesn't have it he will not live more than a few months...

Our family has been absolutely brutalized this year, and I almost just expect the worst at this point..I need the catharsis that this joint provides me...it helps to blow off some steam.
Hang in there brother.. We may not always agree, but we love ya.. Things will get better.. 👍

He’s the biggest part of our issue. Singlehandedly imposing a hopeless, meaningless additional season of this mess. Not malice...ego driven stubbornness shared by his coach.

No there is a very very good chance a change is made.

YES!!! And up goes the roller coaster!!!

It’s not malice, it’s hubris.

Fulmer SUCKS and is a cancer for this program. He for sure doesn’t want the NCAA sniffing around him...we will see how bad some donors want him gone as well...they certainly have and know the dirt if needed to make a change.
Fulmer cares about Fulmer.. Been pretty obvious for quite a while..

Temporary AD to stabilize the program..
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

I just don't see how we're going to make a coaching change in the middle of January. Most coaching searches have already come & gone. Only thing I could see it happening still is if the NCAA thing is really bad, but it feels completely overblown.

If that is what it takes....so be it. Tired of sucking.
You and I both know if they push Fulmer out, it won’t suddenly mean we’re hiring Freeze or Meyer or whomever.

We’ll get this big coup, pretend like we’re spending with the big boys, then end up hiring Billy Napier or Bill Clark or someone in that tier. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t do it - I think a change has to be made regardless of the guaranteed replacement.

But things don’t get fixed until the boosters get their heads out of their asses and stop thinking they’re all infallible. You can see it at other programs too - Texas comes to mind immediately. Too many cooks in the kitchen.
