I disagree. He’s not alone in supporting Pruitt. He’s got a few boosters on his side and it seems like he has Boyd and Plowman as well. If either of them wanted Pruitt gone, it would’ve already happened. He’s the biggest part of our issue. Singlehandedly imposing a hopeless, meaningless additional season of this mess. Not malice...ego driven stubbornness shared by his coach.
Would be ecstatic with Napier. And Clark would be our best hire since Kiffin...especially if his AD follows him.You and I both know if they push Fulmer out, it won’t suddenly mean we’re hiring Freeze or Meyer or whomever.
We’ll get this big coup, pretend like we’re spending with the big boys, then end up hiring Billy Napier or Bill Clark or someone in that tier. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t do it - I think a change has to be made regardless of the guaranteed replacement.
But things don’t get fixed until the boosters get their heads out of their asses and stop thinking they’re all infallible. You can see it at other programs too - Texas comes to mind immediately. Too many cooks in the kitchen.
Respectfully @Atlanta VOL - trying to intentionally get the program in trouble with the NCAA sure seems like an idiotic way to try and help the program.
You say there is a high chance of a coaching change, and then say that turning in Fulmer to the NCAA would prevent us from sucking.
Okay.
