And what if I told you that Tesla was willing to give you a signing bonus regardless of where you decided to choose to go and that the day before signing Tesla reached back out and said hey we know what Boeing offered you and we are willing to go to 700k or match anything else Boeing throws your way. Oh and the whole time this is going on the Boeing stock value continues to drop. This is the type of thing we are up against.
So we need more closers?

Come on man. Not you too?

Where were all the Fulmer bashers when we were winning 10+, and SEC's? Then again when he was hired as AD?

All the man has done is give his all for Tennessee. I think we'll be fine.

The game passed him. And it's the Peter Principle. Just because he had success as a head coach doesn't mean he'd even be an average AD. They required completely different skill sets

If he gives his all for Tennessee he would know Pruitt isn’t the guy and fire him. Not arguing with fat cats to keep him. I’m sure that Fulmer wants to be remembered as the last coach to win something meaningful at Tennessee so he’ll probably do everything he can to keep that intact.

I am not a booster ..carry on.

For all the AV defenders here do you think he’s lying here???

Here’s what a booster is:

It only takes one of these and you are a booster

Yep. At the end of the day, winning cures all. You need a staff that can develop players and win ballgames.

When you (not you AV, just in general) keep a guy who's an arrogant ******* and has 3 wins in year 3. You are not going to win recruits and will only widen the gap between us and the big 3.

Fulmer SUCKS and is a cancer for this program. He for sure doesn’t want the NCAA sniffing around him...we will see how bad some donors want him gone as well...they certainly have and know the dirt if needed to make a change.
Glad to see someone with cred posting what many know and have said.
The Fulmer lovers need to wake up

During his final years of coaching, I don’t think that was the case. He got lazy because he thought he was untouchable.

He won an National Championship, that’s great. However, that doesn’t mean he was qualified to be an Athletic Director.

Pruitt is Fulmer’s “yes man” which is why he’s not wanting to get rid of him.

Basically sounds like no good coaches will come work here because Fulmer is acting like he’s the coach still. Sounds like Pruitt doesn’t work for the university he works as an extension of Fulmer. This is some Palpatine type stuff.

The past few AD’s did plenty of things wrong, but I never could bring myself to blame Hamilton for wanting to wash his hands of the Fulmer era. Even if it meant not getting Cutcliffe. It seemed like it was always the best choice to move on.

I don’t understand how coaches who have been so successful at previous stops, even HC, come here and do so poorly? Do they forget how to coach? Is the pressure too much? Is it because the level of competition is harder? Or is UT just a place where once successful coaches come to die?
