We initially recruited him as a CB as the season progressed he showed what he could do at RB so we started recruiting him as a RB. ND and Ohio St wanted him at RB the whole time.

The realistic response we as fans should have toward Hardy is if Pruitt wants to take him we should accept him with open arms.

We all know his recruitment was “unique” and if the “wrong” he did to us is forgivable from our staff then we need to give the kid a break.

It’s very possible the kid just got caught up in not wanting to hurt either side and made a mistake by not being forthright. I know many kids make such mistakes

Biggest problem with Hardy was he tried to get us caught up in violations by lying about being signed with Auburn.


Ironically, we are now caught up in violations.
