My biggest gripe about Pruitt coming back is I hold Chaney responsible for the offense - I want a change there.

Yep. If Pruitt stayed with Steele as DC and a new OC like Lebby then I think I could get excited again. But Pruitt and Chaney coming back together with the possibility of Weinke coming back too is just disgusting.

The only silver lining if Pruitt stays one more year is if that allows enough time for the powers that be to be comfortable hiring Freeze. If that’s the case, it’s probably worth it over grabbing a guy like Chadwell or Marrone. They really should just hire Freeze now, but it appears they won’t.

There is no silver lining. This admin is not committed to winning. All they are concerned with is people dumb enough to buy season tickets and hand over donations and they will give you another 3-9 team. Rinse and repeat. Its been happening for years

Steele is a solid hire, especially as a position coach. Good to see.

I never had a problem with the old BCS system. Something about potential biased human beings selecting who they think the four best teams are just doesn’t seem legitimate. I’d even look at using the BCS computer system to select the top four teams.
