Plowman has stopped all expenditures by Fulmer, and Pruitt till further notice?

I think this was a win win as a “stop the bleeding” hire. Legit one of best defensive coaches in America.

Unless it changed after I tuned out yesterday, Basilio is just speculating on Steele as interim and did not call it a conclusion. He has never wavered that he doesn’t know what the outcome will be. Again, maybe it changed, but some of y’all need to quit picking stuff out of context and fishing for likes with it.

I think it was a no brainer to snag Steele. Experienced defensive alumni perfect for a young offensive head coach like Jamey Chadwell.

Pruitt is done . He doesn't want to be here and we don't want him. I think he really must have pissed some people off for them to take the path they have. I pray they can somehow end this that is acceptable to both parties. I have heard Pruitt is ready to rumble so he may be digging his own grave here.

Yeah he gave Schiano a glowing endorsement as well. But clearly because Belichick spoke highly of him, well that must mean, as Hank stated, that Marrone was on me of the best OL coaches in ALL football right?

Who knows why these endorsements are given. Could be a coutesy, could be buddies or it could be warranted. I'm sure people "in the biz" have a better idea of the motivation behind them. My point is Belichick's word, I would assume, carries quite a bit of weight.

When is this new coach going to happen,we have waited long enough this should have happen after the season was over. We need coach, assistants and getting in on some more recruits if we can now time has about ran out

If Pruitt is let go, I think we may very well see Steele named interim head football coach next year. He’ll get a trial run next year, if he does well enough, he’ll get the interim tag removed.

And that move will set us back even more, and make us miss on most of the instate ‘22 class. We are tired of experiments! Pay the money up front and hire a proven, experienced winner.

We don’t criticize the Karate Kid man. That is a suspendable offense.

Also an interesting note, Toppmeyer did a dive into Pruitt’s contract and found that UT DOES NOT need to find Level I violations to fire with cause.

The most concerning part of this is naming interim until UT figures out a HC direction. That’s absurd! They have had a couple months that they should have been figuring that out. The perceived level of incompetence is asinine!!
