Because he treats his best employees really well and it is like a family there? How does Dabo convince his coaches to stay? Or maybe he is just really good at finding guys who won't leave?
That is so rare this day in age to have both coordinators, and most of the position coaches, on an uber-successful team stay for many years and not take other jobs.
There would be no lack of interest
The VQ posters were just guessing hoping for e-cred later. The show cause comment and the Mims comment both show they don't know how the current UT internal investigation works.
There will be several more troll attempts before the actual decision is made. Everyone should wait for the national guys or the mods of TOS to report. Everything else is a guess or troll attempt.
AP’s response there was to the question “Would Pruitt leave on his own?” Not would he be fired or not. This post - which I just read someone suggesting this was AP saying Pruitt wouldt leave to go be DC voluntarily. Which I assumed was common sense? Why would he voluntarily leave a HC gig to be Sabans DC

because he doesnt have "experience" lol or his offense wont work in big boy football. This whole forum wants freeze so bad. But they forget how much he actually underachieved at ole miss then shoved that program in the dirt. I like freeze myself. but he isnt a realistic option. The truth here is TN isnt a name that attracts big time coaches anymore. The hires of the last 10 years have done nothing but damage the image of this university. Tennessee doesnt mean crap to kids these days. all they care about is Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Clemson, Ohio State. all the programs who are winning and constantly in the top 25. Ill support any coach who thinks they can come in here and do a good job. This job is extremely difficult. But if we get around year 3 or 4 and there hasnt been progress in development and we still are not competitive i will start to question it. I was up to giving Pruitt a 4th year until i really read and understood how toxic he is with his staff and higher ups behind the scenes. Lets this play out guys. Maybe Boyd and Plowman have this thing handled. Why is Chadwell "embarrassing?..because he is not a old boring lifeless codger? That is f'n stupid.
Can’t wait to see Price’s spinI can't wait to see who gets the scoop (if there is a scoop). I bet it will be some member of the national media or some rando that has little to do with covering the program. Local media and the folks on the beat have stuff get flown over their head all the time. Then they chime in with "this has been in the works" or "behind the scenes this was brewing for a while" or some other BS reason why they knew it all along but didn't report it. If anyone near the program were likely to get it, I guess it would be Ubben.
It's going to be a Bruce Feldman, Brett McMurphy or Chris Low type that breaks this. I think it was Feldman who broke Sark to Texas.I can't wait to see who gets the scoop (if there is a scoop). I agree..... it makes me laugh that we are this intense with compliance when you look around the league are getting away with..... we lost a really good coach in Bruce pearl over a rule they changed the very next year.....LSU’s coach is on tape doing way worse offenses and he is still coaching. That's why all this hatred being spewed at Pruitt kind of gets under my skin. I want a new coach too, but the hatred has gotten put of hand.
And our support system absolutely sucks. What they have done by backstabbing Pruitt makes me wanna puke. Just fire the man and move on.
You are depressing meI will say that we have potentially been underplaying the odds of Fulmer stepping in and taking this HC position. I don't think it's likely, but I think there's like a 15% chance. If you consider what some posters have claimed about Fulmer's daily involvement in the program, you'd have to think he's at least considered pulling a Barry Alvarez. He'll have his lieutenants around: Steele, Tee, Graham,

Do you think he’s gone? Whats you thoughts?Where do they seem confident he’s returning? All I’ve noticed from them, just like always, is they’re not speculating or feeding on rumors.
They’ve been saying for a while now until the investigation is over they don’t know what’s going to happen. He could be fired, he could stay. They don’t know. But currently Pruitt is the coach and that’s what they report on.
If he’s let go they will say something like, “as we’ve reported for weeks the investigation had to conclude before any decision was made. And this is the decision…”
