Such a strange thing. He was good, came here and sucked, left and was good again..

Because we always seem to hire them guys with enormous egos. Dooley was a clean cut dbag, butch was thin skinned and loved to show off his watches and Jordan's and apparently, Pruitt is just an a$$hole. Dooley was at least not the biggest know it all of the 3. Had steele not given up 70 to WV Dooley may still be here to this day. That 2012 offense was so damn fun to watch.

The boxer pitbull mix we have cracks me up. Only dog I've ever had that almost acts like he has a sense of humor. Just a goofball.

My boxer Zeus, when you would scold him would look at things off in the distance acting like he didn't hear you. He would be 3 feet away...... Very aloof..

He would also do this thing when playing we called creeping. You would stare at him, crouch down and move slowly towards him and he would walk towards you in SUPER slow mo. When you made any sudden move he would explode and run to you.. It was bizaree, you had to see it to wrap your head around it. Never have seen another dog do that.. It was friggin hilarious..

Best dog ever.. Miss that boy..

Honestly, I don't think a new coach could cure my meh feeling toward UT football so might as well keep Pruitt. Is what it is, time to face facts and it's a cold hard fact that over the last 10 years Tennessee is bottom 3rd in the conference in wins. Tennessee football is dead and I don't see it coming back

Actually hearing opposite of swan. Hearing it could be soon. Got it from another someone the other day that knows a thing or two. And as much crap as I’ve talked about Pruitt lately, I can say he knows he’s about to be let go, yet he still is trying to keep our best players at Tennessee. I may get grilled, but I at least can respect that. He sucks as a HC but I do respect that.

Yeah. The ole reset button in year 4 is not good. If he survives he has put himself in a very difficult situation. One I'm not sure he can manage..
The longer the limbo lasts, the worse for whoever coaches this team next.

Again, if Pruitt returns UT/boosters are telling the fan base to KTA, they will do what they want to do. The fan base then gets the opportunity to respond.

UTProf has been posting the truth of the situation. When this stuff happened at Bama back in Phil's day, we saw how they responded. Their fan base lost their minds and made them miserable. They fixed it when they took the power away from the competing boosters/university cliches. They consolidated the power within, opened their wallets, hired the best available, gave him everything he needed to win NC's.

We have not done that in over 15 years. Hamilton allowed Fulmer to get complacent and the program trended down until he was fired. It has been a big mess ever since. Despite changes in university officials over the period, the power for the athletic department continues to reside with the big boosters and their cliches. They have been bankrolling the facilities growth and renovations around all of the campus over the years, so there has been more at stake than just athletics from the university's perspective . Until that stops, the mess will continue.
