I honestly feel like we get a roster that has a strong foundation then we can possibly beat those teams..... it’s definitely a process. It should with the schedule but I'm not going to blame covet for no development and we beat teams we were suppose to beat. Still haven't beaten UF, UG, or Bama. But the gap is closing I reckon. lol
Been there but not as many years. As you can see time heals. I pray for you.Well, as some of you may know, I’m going through a divorce after 21 years of marriage. We lost a high 6 figure business in 2019 as well so I’ve been trying to rebuild my life in more ways than 1.
So this Christmas is going to be my first without my family unit in place. I’m okay but it’s sucked pretty bad. The emotions have been off the chart. My parents were going to drive I so I’m not alone but today my mom tested positive for the Vid and they won’t be able to come up. So this Christmas, I’ll have my 2 dogs and probably a lunch at Cracker Barrel. That being said, I’m blessed. Despite all the pain, there’s people out there who have it worst. It’s important to keep a positive perspective. I pray this is the best Christmas for all of you and no matter how bad it gets, choose joy.
I still can't find anything that shows me that Tennessee had stricter rules than other schools. Just doing a Google search of other schools along with missed practices and it seems like if was a pretty big problem everywhere. Schools were canceling entire practices, schools would have lots of kids in quarantine due to contract tracing. It seems to have been a pretty similar problem for several schools. He went 8-5 in year two with a top 30 defense.... covid protocols severely hampered this team.... year 4 can be a pretty decent bounce back year.

It was mentioned by volwuest several times.... it was an issue with every school but Tennessee had stricter contact tracing rules.... Pruitt was pissed about it( I know no one care s about that)I still can't find anything that shows me that Tennessee had stricter rules than other schools. I know...I mean I KNOW it will not happen, but it would be the funniest isht ever if Pruitt is the coach next year and turns this thing around.
It would be absolutely freakin hilarious after all this.
What specific teams didn't participate in contact tracing? I know Missouri did because they had 12 players miss their first game because of it. I know Auburn did because they canceled entire practices due to it. I know Kentucky did it because they would have entire position groups out for their scrimmages due to contact tracing.TN biggest problem was the contact tracing. Which not every team participated in. Hubbs, AP and Lewis said this multiple times. Morris missed almost 50 days. I think Wright missed like 40 days. Other guys missed as well. Is it the end all excuse to how poorly we performed? Absolutely not. Did it have an effect? Absolutely.
