I logged off Friday and decided to take a break after seeing Pruitt flew to California, thinking that was the tell right there. Then I saw news that Austin Pope decided to come back last night, thinking that confirmed it.

I was so happy when Butch and Dooley were fired. I’m not going to be happy if Pruitt is. It’s weird.

I feel the same. Don’t get me wrong, I want Pruitt gone last month, but I just feel like we have to get the right hire this time. If we don’t, I’m afraid to think what’s going to happen to our program.

I don't think Clemson will be the same Clemson. Notre Dame beat them without Lawrence, I'd say a few other teams can as well. They'll need another elite QB in the fold to be an "untouchable" again.

from me seat is Saban wants a coach as his assistant that means the sky’s the limit for that coach. Hell maybe even they might get a job like Texas they are so good

If a guy is only good enough to be a position coach at Bama then he’s not good enough to be a HC here or anywhere else. Heaven help the fools who keep hiring Saban assistants, especially the ones who couldn’t make it beyond position coach. Sunseri should’ve been made HC. Dooley and now Pruitt both worked out so well but hey at least Muschamp and Pruitt had bona fides. Neither Kiffin nor Sark count as Sabanites.

Ha! I actually still have that feeling (didn’t have it after Dooley canned, but dud after Jones). Hope I’m not wrong. I still think Pruitt might be a good HC down the road but he wasn’t ready for this job.

Let the new QB marinate a little first. They’ll be just as good. Clemson being good keep us from having to listen to Georgia cry for a year about finally winning one.
