Well like you said they are all hybrids now really which is true. The main difference is in the edge players. I think crouch compares more to Derek Barnett than to Darrell Taylor. Which is why i think he Would be far better suited in a 4 man front.

Multiple more millions dollars a year and control of a program.

This team is far from talentless (if we can get a coach before people get the itch to leave).

There comes a point where the money isn’t worth it. Go coach a juggernaut offense, win a bunch of games and go back to the NFL in 2-3 years.

Let me ask one more question on taylor /Barnett

why could couch just move to OLB in the 3-4?


Isnt the only difference between Taylor in the 3-4 and Barnett in the 4-3 not just a few more times Taylor dropped back into a coverage when there was a zone blitz?

This was their D vs LSU. Two down Defensive Tackles and two standing DE's. (two LBs and 5 DB's) Looks more like a 4-3. Both ends rushed upfield.
