O’Brien hated many boosters at PSU and the obsession with Paterno. I recall a profanity laced phone call that was leaked deriding the cult following.

Can’t imagine he would be a big fan of this fan base either haha

Not to mention he’s likely to bolt in 3 years after doing so. Would be really nice to have a guy here for atleast 6-8 years or more for a change!!

The thing is, we won’t! We always threaten to leave or stop watching. But we’re hooked. If you’re so emotionally invested that you participate in message boards, they’ve got you. You’ll support the next coach regardless. We all will. We’re sick.

I’m struggling to care anymore. Every time i get excited, I get a double kick to the groin. I’m also struggling to care about college football. It’s turned into the same teams win every year. Those same teams are paying players and are on a different set of rules. Until something drastically changes about college football, then it’s gonna be the same thing over and over.

I mean why would you come here for NCAA sanctions and to get yelled at regardless of what you do when you can go get yelled at regardless of what you do AND win games at Alabama.

Multiple more millions dollars a year and control of a program.

This team is far from talentless (if we can get a coach before people get the itch to leave).

Well like you said they are all hybrids now really which is true. The main difference is in the edge players. I think crouch compares more to Derek Barnett than to Darrell Taylor. Which is why i think he Would be far better suited in a 4 man front.
