Why all the hype for Danny White? I’m not knocking the guy, I just don’t see where he has done anything all that substantial as an AD. Heupel has regressed over 3 years, and Dawkins is just a meh B-ball coach. What am I missing?

He hired big time coaches. Al have produced. They’ve won basically every conference title in every sport there during his tenure. His cosches get extensions, the facilities upgrades, the staffing, the organization. The PR job, he’s done for UCF has been incredible. He spearheaded the “National title” campaign that has kept them afloat. Enrollment is up. UCF has become the largest state school in the state all Bc the visibility of the athletic program. The school was founded in the 1960s.
Let that sink in,
Look where it is now.
