This feels like the type of AD that football can be successful no matter who the coach is. He will hire a competent guy and will assist him and give him what he needs. I'm hopeful that UT as an embarrassment is behind us. That at least.

I’ve been adamant that Napier had no interest in Tennessee because I have a close contact that is tight with him and I’ve been told his feelings. I was just told that White could change Napier’s viewpoint....especially if the contract with worked a certain way. Just something to chew on.

Seriously though, at what point in time in the last 10 years would we not only have hired Danny White but also not have him tell us to kick rocks? We got a top 5 AD while having the football team in deep ****. Plowman and Boyd’s presence here can’t be understated.

Y’all do realize Kiffin is this year’s Gruden right?

Anybody else we get would be a disappointment to most folks on here. I think Kiffin would be a huge win for us — with the proper contract language in place — but let’s keep some perspective and remember there are lots of great candidates out there. Whomever they hire deserves our support.
