I see the similarities, but Jim Tressel was 100% an Ohio guy that was able to get the whole state to buy in. At the time OH football was enough to dominate the B1G

Kiffin was NOT hired by Mike Whites brother. Brian White became the AD at FAU March 3, 2018. Kiffin became FAUs head coach December 12, 2016 and left December 6, 2019. They worked at FAU for 2 football seasons together.

No problem. Wasn't trying to be hostile, I was told that and looked it up to confirm. I just don't want misinformation spreading getting everyones hope up. There is still obviously a connection there.

Basilio just said, he got a text from a guy who 1. Said White will shake things up and get people turned in the same direction. 2. He thinks White suggested a HC during the interview and already knows who he wants.

no doubt white does.
He is very proactive and has all his ducks in a row.
It took white two days to hire Frost’s replacement, Bc he had done the provisional leg work in case Frost left

I rarely get info on anything unless it’s connected to Orlando somehow. I used to work for a company called Dumont Inc in Oviedo, FL. their owners were Ron and Julie Cartwright and they are part of the shareholders society and are legacy levels donors at UCF. You can actually google them and see their involvement with UCF athletics.

Tom their son who I stay in contact with from time to time just called me, congratulated us and said

“there was nothing we could do to keep him here, UTs offer was out of this world and he had to take it, I give you guys credit for being serious and really getting what you wanted”.

i asked his thoughts on White:

“Top 5 AD in the country, knows what it takes to run a successful AD from top to bottom, no sport gets left behind”

what kind of coach do you expect him to hire for us?

“a winner, he’ll have his target whoever that is and he’ll go get him, he’s a hell of a salesman and his past experience speaks for itself, this is a huge loss for UCF and we will likely never have an AD like him, I hope we go after his brother to replace him”.

I have to think (or maybe hope) he wouldn't say that if he didn't have confidence about the upcoming coaching search. That isn't something you say if you think the NCAA is about to destroy your program.

I'm almost 100% positive he's a troll. Also, every take has been freezing cold. "Pruitt is coming back, accept it." "It's going to be Steele, accept it." "We're gonna have Chadwell, ugh" (as if that last one was a bad thing.)

If not, then just miserable and always confident in the absolute "worst" outcome.

I'm not a troll. It's just that this is tennessee......so I always fear the worst.
