@RiotVol and I will drive up from Starkville and pick him up tonight, then drive him to Knoxville. We'll take turns driving and have Kiffin piss in a bottle to avoid being seen.

As a UT and State grad, nothing would make me happier than watching Oxford burn for this.

Not that anyone asked or cares, but I would be good with either Chadwell or Leipold. I think Chadwell has the swagger and southern charm that would work in recruiting and Leipold has great overall winning record (albeit at a lower level that the SEC).

I remember Danny White as a player at Marland and on one of the altPro teams in Memphis. Just based on this I like him as an AD candidate.

No offense to Danny White but I've moved to the coaching search. Don't waste time on a PC. Go get Lane 'Twinkle Toes' Kiffin, then schedule it. If you have a PC, I want someone to whisper in your ear "um sir, it's Lane" , hand you your phone, see a giant smile on your face and then you go into the mic "WE GOT EM" while you high five everyone and we barely catch a "f*** yeah, sluts" on the hot mic. Nothing wrong about being passionate about Tennessee football and hopefully we will all be pleasantly surprised by the time this all plays itself out. I once heard Will West say that average sports fans are idiots and have despised even hearing his voice on the radio.He understands nothing about being passionate about Tennessee football and I certainly respect the way you feel about them.

15 long years of hell will do that to you..I am a Vol no matter what happens. I hope things are really changing...we will soon see...but my doubts are starting to melt away. I just can't take being gutted anymore.

As some have alluded to, any AD worth a damn has a list of their top 3-5 coaching candidates for the major $$$ sports. I would bet all I've got that he's on the phone already with the people on his list. This will most likely be done by Monday afternoon.

He has identified the people and been told the compensation he can offer....let's roll!!
