Subject change: who y’all got in the playoffs?
i think GB runs Tampa. I’m really tempted to bet Buffalo. KC plays a ton of single high and Allen has a bazooka. They matchup great against KC

I agree on GB. I’m not sure about the AFC. I could see Buffalo playing balls to the wall and winning. You never count Mahomes out though.

It's nice realizing no one knows anything right now. Can't wait for things to go crazy one way or the other in a couple days from now.

I don't know why he'd leave. He told the NFL no. And he told Texas no. He seems happy where he's at for now.
Think it could be the aspect of working with our new ad? Or maybe proving himself in the sec? Rumor was no one wanted to work with Fulmer but everyone seems to respect White. Feeling very positive about Tennessee sports right now. Don't want to lose this feeling!

It was only in terms of people wanting one coordinator and being horrified by another. It was tongue in cheek but still

I could be wrong, but I just think that insinuation (i.e. that people don’t want TE to get the job because he’s biracial) is (a) offensive and (b) completely wrong —the product of a delusion that everybody is obsessed with skin color.

As far as I can tell, the truth is that people don’t really want any coordinator. And I totally get it. The risk/reward is there with any hire, but obviously a Tony Elliott or Joe Brady hire is much higher variance than a Matt Campbell or Bob Stoops. I’d personally love to see us do whatever it takes to get the latter (Yankees-style).

I am rooting for Buffalo, but it would be hard to bet against the Chiefs. I think we will see the Packers beating the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

I find it really hard to believe that those people who donate $10 million + a year aren't even asked their opinion. This isn't ucf boosters, which were non existent until a couple of years ago. There's a reason that some of those boosters where the first few people he met with when he got off of the plane. Not saying they make the decision, but they'll get to have their say.
Professionals know when you start letting people who use their $’s to drive decisions vs using people who know Football to drive decisions, you suck at Football. Not saying he wouldn’t listen to their opinion. Just saying he wouldn’t change his list just because they have $.

yeah, i don't think anyone can lose sight of the fact that every single discussion going on here is based speculation. aside from the 'reports' about elliot being a candidate....and really, that's kind of a "duh" report anyway, right?....everything else has literally been throwing ish agianst the wall.

including kiffin, campbell, stoops etc....

so when you morans are mad at who we do hire, just remember.........it wasn't the AD's job to protect you from disappointing yourself.
Yer my non diplomatic thoughts today Key 🔑. 😂😂😂😂

Will Healy would be like a pin stuck in the balloon of my optimism that has been growing since we hired White.

It would tell me that we are just as undesirable of a job as all the national media seems to think we are if that is the best we can do.

Nobody is defending Pruitt for anything he did here. But saying he wasn’t regarded as a great DC is stupid. You can go back to 2017 and read everything that was written about him then and see for yourselves. You can also look at FSU, Ga, and Bama’s defense and see that he improved all three. You can say he’s an awful HC, he is. But he was regarded as elite. Cole Cubelic referred to him as the greatest defensive mind in the game. Not sure how we got here other than you’re wanting to turn our program over to another unproven coordinator who is basically the same as Pruitt, a coordinator at an elite football program coaching 5 stars, but who is a better person.
Cole cublic is a moron when he isn’t talking about the offensive line

The one thing about Healy is that (much like White) he would understand this is a big job, but he’s got the confidence and energy to think he can handle it. That’s something I think Pruitt was missing.
