One thing I have thought about with Campbell is I want to say Iowa St is struggling in the $$ category and asked his staff I believe to take some hefty pay cuts and furloughs at one point. I wonder if that could come into play is to go somewhere he can take care of his staff money wise and in turn university gets his heavy buyout money

well, we'll never know about it, if he says no....

I hope we never hear if that happens. That's why I don't get the logic that we should only be happy about a perceived lower tier hire if we know that others turned us down. How did a series of public rejections help us the last 3 times? Hopefully we can avoid that no matter who we hire. From a national and recruiting perspective that would be a huge boost for an incoming coach instead of what the last 3 had to overcome.

The one thing about Healy is that (much like White) he would understand this is a big job, but he’s got the confidence and energy to think he can handle it. That’s something I think Pruitt was missing.

To pick an AD, they didn’t consider a bunch of prospects. They picked there guy and made it happen. Don’t see why they wouldn’t have done the same for Campbell
